DIY DISNEY DAY!

So as you may know it's Spring Break. I've been having a blast doing pretty much nothing but TPT stuff. However, yesterday Carly and I decided to have a DIY Disney Day. It was so much fun! And here's how it went.
First, we started with Disney music and Mickey ears. Then we threw in some homemade Dole Whip and corn dogs and Flame Tree BBQ Fries!! So yummy!!

We found the Dole Whip recipe at Chocolate Covered Katie's Blog. Super simple to make and tasted almost as good as the real thing.

Corn dogs are just from Walmart's frozen section and the fries - we air fried frozen french fries, topped them with Plastic Cheese, and Kraft BBQ sauce and enjoyed every last bit.

We watched the Emperor's New Groove, Tangled, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and the Princess and the Frog. Had a full day of Movie watching.

And of course we ate popcorn in our Disney Popcorn Buckets.

For dinner we ate steak and potatoes. The mashed potato recipe came from the chef at Chef Mickey's himself!!!! We asked our waiter for the recipe, and out came the chef.

Half real potatoes, half instant potatoes, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, butter S & P. Mix til it's delicious.

We made pretzels, too. We bought the Great Value Pretzel Mix from Walmart and literally 40 minutes later had these.

And we covered them in cinnamon sugar. YUM.

We ended the day watching the full 18 minute show of Happily Ever After. And singing along!

So that's it! That's how you have a DIY Disney Day when you can't make it to the parks because you live in an entirely different state. It's so sad. But the food was good, the entertainment was good, and the company was good.
