Hi friends!! It's Tell All Tuesday with Jayme from Teach Talk Inspire and Diana from My Day in K!!

Today's topic is life as a reality show. I don't watch that much of reality TV, but I do find these shows really interesting and highly addictive!! Mine is super easy:

Yes, I am a huge geek. I love anything fantastical, science fiction-y, out of this world stuff!! But for good reason!
I watch for the plot lines. Really good plots, guys.

Anything done by Marvel, Supernatural, Grimm, Once Upon a Time, Arrow, The Flash, etc. Yeah Carly and I are glued to all that!! Ant-Man comes out Thursday night, and we've had tickets for two weeks.

We've been to Comic Cons. Here is the latest we went to in New Orleans.

We got to meet Brett Dalton who plays Grant Ward from Agents of SHIELD.

Now I don't watch this show, but Carly's seen a few episodes.

Love me some Castiel.

Last year, they were filming Fantastic Four here in Baton Rouge and we went to Costco like every day hoping to catch some filming. The movie studio is literally next door to Costco. But we never saw any of them :( and they never called for extras here that I heard.

ANYway - my reality show would totally follow me around while we did all this geek stuff and plus I would actually get to go do all this geek stuff.

People with reality TV shows get to do a lot of stuff. And meet a lot of people.

When I need gifts for people, I crochet them geek stuff. Case in point:

Well hello Chris Evans.

And I vote next year the TpT Conference be called:
'Cuz I'm pretty sure this is what happened in Vegas last week and I missed it.

So that's all! I want someone to follow me around with a camera while I do all my geek stuff. Yeah, that's probably boring to lots of people! But I would have a BLAST.

Thanks for reading!

Happy Tuesday everyone!! This week's topic:
I am excited to share with you my favorite summer flashback - when we went to Hawaii in 2007!!

Look how BEAUTIFUL it is!! That first picture is of Carly Summer when she was only 6!! The second is a pic of Diamondhead Volcano on Oahu. We stayed at the Wyndham Waikiki Beachwalk.

This was our view from the balcony.

It was a family vacation because my cousin Kathleen graduated from high school and wanted to go to Hawaii. Well, OKAY!! It was mom, dad, me, Carly, my sister and bro-in-law, aunt, uncle, cousin, grandmother. Here are some family candids:

It was such an amazing trip!!

Turtle Bay where they were filming Lost!! We didn't see any stars though.

Beautiful sunset!

We went snorkeling in Hanuama Bay and saw sea turtles!!

We also visited Pearl Harbor. It was a very sobering experience.

You arrive at the memorial early and stand in the long, long line hoping to get a ticket for the day.

When you step onto the memorial, it's silence. There literally isn't one single sound save the gentle lapping of water around the memorial. You walk down and peer over the edges and see the Arizona right below the surface, like you could just take a step in and touch it.

You can still see the oil leaking on the surface.

I am still amazed at the respectfulness shown on the memorial. Even though Carly was only six, she still remembers how in awe she was. I am so glad we were able to experience this and I will definitely visit again when we go back.

Had some fun playing indoor 3D Mini Golf.

And we learned all about lei making.

Why yes, we did have matching outfits! I made them myself.

Hula lessons!

I would go back in a heartbeat!!

Well that's it! I do hope you link up with us because I would love to see your favorite summer flashbacks!
Thanks for reading!
Inklinkz Code:
Hey everybody! It's Tell All Tuesday time! So happy to be linking up with Diana from My Day in K and Jayme from Teach Talk Inspire again fro this fun summer linky. This week's topic:

My list is relatively short, though each year it changes and grows!!

Educational Specialist/Doctorate - I LOVE school. All parts of it - the reading, the writing, the learning, the research, the assignments. Yeah, so it's a lot of work but it makes me a better teacher and person. Learning should never stop! Keep those brains a-moving!
I want to get my Ed.S/D in curriculum and instruction because I love creating units and lessons. My kiddos always love the lessons and activities I present but I know I'm not an expert in designing curriculum and there is always so much more to learn.

Grow my TpT store - I currently have 133 products in my store. I have so many more ideas for products but I just have to make myself sit down and create them! On a side note - my personal bucket list contains "Get an iMac" which would coincidentally help this part of my teacher bucket list greatly :)

Teach Teachers to be Teachers - This is what I would ultimately like to do, if I ever leave my classroom! I love my littles but I would like to impart my knowledge and experience to other teachers and help create the next generation of classroom teachers.

Travel and present at workshops -  Who doesn't love to travel?? I really enjoy going to teacher conventions and workshops so being able to do this more and to present to other teachers would be a dream! This summer I'm presenting two sessions at our state's APEL conference and I couldn't be more excited! Though I don't have to travel far to present (literally, it's right down the road from where I live!) it's still a foot in the door for future opportunities. I'm not able to go to Vegas this year for the TpT conference, but I'm already planning for next year!

I hope you enjoyed reading about my bucket list and I can't wait to read about yours! Please grab the graphics and link up with us below and happy summer!
