We had a GREAT St. Patrick's Day!! We started the day with Face Painting! The second grade class was raising money for their field trip to the Aquarium in New Orleans. Our Second Grade teachers are amazing! Look at that talent!

Good evening to all! Just a quick jot tonight to show what we did in math today!

This is a little craftivity from my St. Patrick's Day Math bundle.

We have been working hard with decomposing numbers! Our focus right now is breaking numbers down to tens and ones. So everybody got a stack of leprechaun coins and started counting.

We totaled our coins, divided them into tens and ones, wrote expanded form, and drew our quick tens or blocks.
Here are our finished Pots o' Gold!
