Sneak Peek Sunday: November 13-17, 2017

Well this is it! We've made it to the week before Thanksgiving Break!! Whew, it has been a busy month so far.

For starters, my whole schedule got switched up. Our Spanish teacher got another job, and we hired a second French teacher, so the Spanish class time is now my Study Skills class, and the original Study Skills class is now French for all of seventh grade. So yay.

But we did go to our Robotics Qualifier and WON!! We are going to State! It's exciting!

Now on to the plans for the week.

I now have children all day from 10:17 am until 1:45 pm. I've had an extra Lunch Duty added in to my rotation as well and we aren't supposed to eat on lunch duty with the kids. So I don't eat lunch until 1:47 every day. That's fun. I eat breakfast in the morning at my house around 6 am because I have morning care room at school for early drop offs at 7. So there are some days I go from 6 am to almost 2 pm without food. Ah, the life of a teacher.

Between two field trips though, this week ought to be quite easy going. I'm not going on field trips, but still. I'm sure the kids will have fun. Our news reports are due and I can't wait to see the completed versions!

Also, this week PBS Student Reporting Labs is visiting us on Friday to welcome us to the fold. This is such an exciting opportunity for our kids. We are the first and only SRL in Louisiana. Can't wait to get started working on news packages.

This week I had a genius idea. Must be the lack of food. But I've been making my objectives in a completely separate file. Then I thought, "Ummmm, Jess, whatcha doin? Why don't you make your objective signs in the SAME file as your lesson plans?"

And now I think I can solve all the world's problems.

Grab my plans HERE this week and feel much smarter than I do.

AND you can grab my Objectives Bulletin Board Set HERE from my Blog Reveal. Thanks!
