Hi there!
I'm Jessica! I currently teach first grade at a magnet school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I grew up in Alexandria, LA and just moved down here to work at this magnificent school!
I have a Master's of Education degree in Educational Technology and Leadership from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. I just graduated this past May! I've been teaching for 7 years.
I have a daughter, Carly, who is going into the 7th grade. She isn't too happy that we've moved down here, but I'm hoping she will see the benefit of it soon. 
I'm also starting this blog as a way to share my teaching ideas, but mostly so I can remember all the fun I've had teaching these cute firsties.
